On the Mediterranean coastline of Italy lies Lucca, a region known for its charming old world style, breathtaking beauty and teeming with small, intimate restaurants serving food made with only the freshest local ingredients. For centuries, people have met in these casual ristorantes to enjoy “la dolce vita” – the good life.
Such is the inspiration for Lucca, located in the heart of downtown Canton’s arts district. Locally sourced ingredients, seasonal preparations and a commitment to using only the freshest produce infuses a new menu nearly every night in Lucca’s alluring Tuscan-inspired dining room.
Fresh, Local Ingredients
In keeping with the spirit of the restaurants of Tuscany that inspired Lucca, the eatery is committed to using only fresh, locally sourced ingredients. In addition to making its own mozzarella, Lucca serves Ohio cheeses from Canal Junction Farmstead and McKenzie Creamery, Ohio raised meats, produce from Breezy Hill Farm in nearby Homeworth and renowned Ohio City Pasta from Ohio City.
